In 2004 A2B were asked to take over the running of a day centre which provides a good meal for around 100 disadvantaged children and elderly.

This had been run by a German charity but funding for them was getting difficult and rather than close the centre, it was suggested that A2B should take it over.


This extra burden meant that the time had come to employ someone local who could run both the family sponsorship and the day centre.

In January 2005 Alketa and Elona, two christian Albanians were taken on for this task and have done an excellent job.

The vision is not only to give practical help but also to minister to the children and elderly with the Christian gospel, and they are grateful for the link with a local church who have provided many volunteers to help with this.
