Paul (Chairman) and Jill (Family Link Co-ordinator) flew out to Albania for a 10 day visit at the end of September. At the same time Graham Brooks and Mark Pritchard drove out through France Switzerland and Italy taking with them a range of items. This included a new commercial sized cooker donated to A2B by Factory First. This was successfully installed by Mark and has improved both the capacity and the running costs of the catering. They also bought out some crutches, clothes, toys and a quantity of medicines.

The day centre is running well but prices for the basic food needed is going up in price very quickly. Electricity and Gas costs have also risen putting great strain on the A2B finances. Our twelve year old landrover is now in constant need of repair and we are trying to find funding for a replacement.

Family sponsorship continues to function well. A number of them have now become self sufficient enabling us to remove them from the scheme and to add others on.

We visited two families that A2B helped with buildings. This has dramatically improved the lives of these families moving them from extremely bad conditions into new purpose built dwellings.

We also met up and established links with Clement and west indian evangelist working with “Youth With A Mission” He is establishing good links with the increasing gypsy community in Elbasan and many are responding to the gospel.
